About Aerherhaven Enclave

With over 30 years of tabletop RPG experience, I’ve journeyed through a wide range of systems—from the crunchy, old-school mechanics of classic editions to the streamlined storytelling tools of modern games. While I ultimately found a home in Dungeons & Dragons, my roots are deep in the broader TTRPG universe, giving me a versatile and adaptive style at the table. I’ve been both a player and Game Master. My GMing spans five or so years of Oneshots and Dungeon Dives run on Fantasy Grounds Classic and Unity. where I’ve guided players through epic, collaborative stories. Whether it’s diving into the forgotten lore of a ruined civilization or forging new legends from scratch, I approach storytelling as a shared creative experience—like co-writing a novel with friends. What sets me apart is a love of deep systems and bold experimentation. I’m always tinkering: converting content from other games, reimagining classic settings, or creating custom encounters that challenge both strategy and imagination. I take pride in meeting players where they are—whether they're veterans or first-timers—and helping them connect with the story, the system, and each other. If you're looking for a game that blends worldbuilding, cinematic moments, player agency, and the occasional twist you didn't see coming, I’d love to run a session for you.

How Aerherhaven Enclave runs games

I value player engagement—both in how character backstories shape the world and how in-game decisions ripple through the setting. I like to keep players on their toes, encouraging creative thinking and meaningful choices. While I’m open to running darker themes when the group is on board, I do not run NSFW content. Humor is welcome at the table, but harassment of any kind is not. My games are inclusive and respectful spaces—if that’s a problem for you, please don’t sign up. Prejudice, slander, or bias against others has no place in any world I run.

I deal with rules issues by...

Pausing briefly to hear the player out, take note of the issue and ask them to get with me after the session.

Aerherhaven Enclave's ideal table

If I am running a campaign I like to weave player lore into the world itself, giving opportunity to show their history, and their choices as having a very full effect, I appreciate roleplay in any form, and encourage my players to challenge me. In a oneshot, roleplay is fun, but often gets less focused on for the overall goal of the players completing or failing to complete the end goals.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table

Gritty oneshots with challenging choices and difficult enemies Dungeon Crawls or Big Bad Showdowns or a fully committed campaign with 40/60 or 30/70 combat to roleplay

I love it when a player

creates an in depth backstory for their character, and works with me to really integrate their story into the one that I am weaving.

I think metagaming...

can really bring the morale of a table down, and that the individual that is using their actual knowledge of the game, and or a storyline secret as character knowledge tends to be cumbersome. I prefer this habit get left at the door.
