I got started GMing...

D&D 5e like many people did during the lockdown. I spent a lot of my downtime during that time watching actual plays which inspired me to take the leap into GMing. So I gathered some friends who were interested in playing and I've been running games almost every week since

My favorite system of all Time is

City of Mist for sure. I don't often get the chance to play it but the setting of the game combined with its rules light cinematic approach matches perfectly with the games that I like to run/play.

I deal with rules issues by...

Finding a quick solution in the moment to stop it from impacting the flow of the game. After the game I will figure out either the official ruling or provide my own consistent ruling for the issue that will be the standard going forward in the campaign.

I once ran a session...

That was just a Freaky Friday situation for my players on Halloween. It ended up being a lot of fun as Players were dealing with the Chaos of figuring out what abilities they now had while still roleplaying their own characters.

When it comes to voices

I'll try my best but accents aren't my strong suit so I focus more on Vocabulary choices and inflection to differentiate characters.

I think min/maxing...

is completely fine as long as it doesn't diminish the tone of the game or the Character Fantasy of another Player at the Table.
