About Terry
When it comes to table top games, cooperative story telling is the most important element to me. Whether we are exploring a mad wizard's tower, hunting a werewolf across the moors, or plotting to overthrow the Marquise, I can't wait to see what creative solutions and crazy plans players will come up with. I've been playing and running roleplaying games for more than 20 years across a variety of systems. In that time I've learned one golden rule that I always try to follow, be a fan of the players. My job is to set the stage and let the players explore the space. Along with a healthy does of enthusiasm, I provide art, battle maps, ambient music, and a DND Beyond account with a metric ton of books and player options. How Terry runs games
I'm a story first Game Master who is equally comfortable with combat and roleplaying. I use battle maps for 5e as I find the combat is more crunchy, but prefer to use theater of the mind combat for other game systems. I really focus on giving my npc's personality through tics and cadence. As a fan of the players, I follow rule of cool over rules as written. I love setting up a good sandbox, turning the players loose and seeing what happens.
