About me

I've been playing RPGs and board games since I was a teenager. A few years ago, when the pandemic started, I was the GM for a DND campaign over Roll20. We all had a lot of fun and I continued being a GM after that campaign finished. I love all things board game and RPGs. I love reading about different RPG systems, and will often prepare campaigns that I know I'll never run simply for the fun. I am also an avid fan of board games. I'm currently trying to design a legacy style board game which has been a uniquely fun creative outlet. I will probably never get published, but I hope to at least make a demo of it on TableTopSimulator. My three favorite board games right now are Spirit Island, Aeon's End and Kingdom Death: Monster. Before my wife and moved internationally I painted minis. My favorite minis are the Animal Adventures minis from SteamForged Games.

GM Style

My main goal as a GM is to create fun. I want my players to have a good time, laugh, feel safe, and live their wildest fantasies. When I am designing campagins and scenarios I try to create a balanced atmosphere that is centered around the players. I want combat to be challenging but rewarding. I try make sure that the players have choices in how a story progresses, without creating an openworld sitution for myself. I seek to create opportunities for the characters to develop their characters and interact with each other. I would describe myself as flexible, and always seeking to make each session better than the last. I am always open to criticism and always looking for ways to improve.
