About Storyteller_V
I started playing tabletop rpgs in high school around 2012 but before that I played different D&D video games like Baulders Gate and Neverwinter Nights. I was introduced to D&D 3.5 and gradually explored other game systems like Pathfinder 1e and other systems like Gamma World. I currently run Pathfinder 2e games with an interest in running Starfinder 2e when it officially comes out. I have also ran Star Wars RPG and Legend of the Five Rings 5th edition as well as Pathfinder Savage Worlds. I have been described as a cool laid back GM that emphasizes roleplay. I try to give all of my players the spotlight and give them opportunities for their characters to shine. I like to incorporate every aspect of my player's characters down to class mechanics. I believe that everything that makes up a character can be highlighted in roleplay. I may play RAW but I tend to use the rules as inspiration to help encourage a fun and interactive narrative. My overall goal is to provide a welcoming and fun environment while creating an engaging and immersive narrative.

I became a GM because
I like to GM because I find it fun and engaging to create stories with all kinds of players. I like seeing how characters interact with the stories and I enjoy helping players add their own piece to the overall narrative.
My favorite system of all Time is
My favorite system of all time has to be Pathfinder 2e and soon to be Starfinder 2e. I enjoy how there is so much customization and the rules and mechanics to support anyone's creativity. It may get a reputation for being crunchy but I feel the crunch can inspire creativity.
When I'm not running games I'm...
When I am not running games I usually looking through TTRPG books for inspiration, playing video games, watching sports, listening to my vinyl collection or watching videos on YouTube.
How Storyteller_V runs games
I enjoy creating opportunities for roleplay. I want to make an engaging narrative that all my players feel they can add to. When it comes to combat, I enjoy making high stakes combat scenarios that can challenge my players but be rewarding at the same time. I typically reserve this for boss battles. As mentioned before, I want to give all my players their time in the spotlight. I don't want someone to feel like they're being ignored. I want everyone to have an opportunity to add to and influence the story.

I deal with rules issues by...
I deal with rules issues by listening about the concern of the issue and do a quick check if it won't stop the game too long. If I feel it may take away from the flow, I'll go with my interpretation and then after the session look into it more.
My games focus on...
My games focus on the characters stories and their influences to the narrative. I like to give each player their time in the spotlight so they feel more connected to what is going on.
Rules are...
Rules are a way to add structure to a game world but at the same time allow opportunities for creativity. I don't see them as a hindrance but a tool to gain inspiration and a way to help guide the story.
Storyteller_V's ideal table
I like to have a laid back atmosphere when it comes to my table. I want everyone to have fun and enjoy their time away from the real world. I will enforce that everyone be respectful of each other since I like to foster a LGBTQ+ friendly environment. If a player has a problem with something I did, I encourage them to come to me so I can help remedy the issue. I also encourage players to talk to me in depth about their character ideas and I enjoy helping them brainstorm or offer some ideas of my own. As mentioned before, I want all my players to have the spotlight in one way or another during sessions. At the end of the day, I want everyone to have a fun and memorable time playing in my games. We're all here to have some fun and forget about the world for a little while.

I love it when a player
I love it when a player comes up with a creative solution to a problem or finds themselves drawn into the roleplaying of the session.
My perfect party mix is
My perfect party mix is that everyone's characters are unique from one another. For example with Pathfinder 2e I enjoy every player being a different Ancestry, Background, and Class from one another.
My table is not the place for...
My table is not the place for PVP or actively being a nuisance to the party. It is definitely not a place where I allow being rude to other players.
