About Valerie

My name is Valerie and I'm an all-purpose gamer. I have been into TTRPGs since the early 90s, getting my start with AD&D 2E, but soon branched out into World of Darkness and Call of Cthulhu, and any other game my friends were willing to run! Before long I got the itch to run games myself. I've always had a creative streak, and running TTRPGs scratches the itch that goes along with that creativity. I've run World of Darkness games including Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse. I've run Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Dungeon Crawl Classics, XCrawl Classics, Fallout, Forbidden Lands, and so many more. I love to collaborate with my players to create a story and a world we all love to return to again and again.

When I'm not running games I'm...

When I'm not running games I'm playing in them! If I'm not taking part in TTRPGs then I'm playing with my dogs, reading, writing, or playing board games. My favorite board game at the moment is Vantage, but Scythe runes a close second.

I love role play and a good story with enough combat and stakes to keep things interesting. I go by the Rule of Cool.

My table is a safe space for everyone to sit down and immerse themselves in a shared world. At my table we're inclusive, kind, and friendly, so that everyone feels confident and included when role playing their characters. The vibe is collaborative and creative. I want everyone to have a good time connecting with their characters and each other in the game space.
