How Cornelius the Strange runs games

I focus primarily on story and character development in a lot of my games, but can tailor my approach to a more combat oriented party. I love designing fun and unique encounters. Many of my games feature strange locales, and unique setting and creature design. As a DM I am not a rules lawyer. I tend to try to follow the "Rule of Cool" in most instances. I want the game to be challenging, but most of all it just has to be fun. In the same way, many of my campaign settings may have subtle aspects of the lore changed to fit the story we're trying to make. If, as a player, you might be upset by a particular deity or race not acting as they should, or not following the official lore, I would recommend a different DM. I'm all about telling compelling stories, and I'm loyal to that over the official cannon.
