Greeting adventures, heroes, and travelers, I am Bailey the Bard and I'm and here to collect and share your stories as you live them. Heya gang, I've been playing and running D&D and other TTRPG games since 2005 when I stumbled into a game shop in NYC looking to make friends in a new town. TTRPGs have been a passion of mine ever since and I am looking to share that passion with others as they share theirs. I ran my first Murder Mystery party in 2010 while working at a Dude Ranch in Idaho and it was such a success for the guests, I've ran them several more time since. One party has 24 players!

GM Style

For TTRPGs, expect a LOT if visceral description of actions and events, I love to evoke strong senses of the world as the characters experience it. I encourage and promote players to uses their skills, tools, and environment creatively, and I create and endorse "high concept cinema" styles of play. Players can expect compelling social engagement, evocative environments, and dynamic combats. I'll be frank, puzzles are not my strong point so don't expect them often or to be incredibly complex when they come up. I'm not a lethal DM but I do like to challenge players, to get them sweating and using resources because that's what their for right? I am your biggest cheerleader and ultimately want characters to succeed and players to feel empowered and validated. For Murder Mystery Parties, as the Master of Ceremonies I will coordinate with the host and players 2 weeks to a month before the event to ensure everyone knows what to expect. I will provide the Mystery selectable from one of the myriad of option at FreeFormGames.com, print, prepare, and package all the materials for the players. Over the course of 4 hours, I will guide everyone through the mystery's narrative and provide clue, assistance, and intermediate between the characters as they try to solve a murder, or cover up their own secrets. These games are Very rules-lite and more about roleplaying the character than gaming the system.
