About me
My name is Mitch and I am a friendly, experienced, and easy going GM (or DM, your pick…). I welcome all people regardless of level of experience, gender, race, sexual orientation or gender identity. Though I have only just begun running Tabletop Roleplaying Games professionally, this hobby has been a part of my life for the past 9 years. Starting with my love of everything Star Wars, my gateway into the community was through the Fantasy Flight Star Wars RPG. From there, it moved to systems such as Tales from the Loop, Legend of the Five Rings, and eventually, D&D 5e, which is where I have spent the last few years diving into. Currently D&D is my passion, and I have run numerous one shots and a few full campaigns to completion. Though I am happy to jump into a riveting, exciting, and sometimes terrifying or deadly Combat Encounter, player interaction, backstory, and exploration are my favorite elements to run, and therefore my biggest strengths. What sets my GM'ing apart is my ability to make sure everyone, no matter the experience, is involved, safe, and having fun, without compromising the world in which the game is set. Send me a message with any questions or concerns you have and lets try and game together soon!
GM Style
There are many things I love when it comes to TTRPG's. Though, my strengths are in creating worlds that feel real and lived in, NPC's with great personality and a few(not always the best, but enjoyable none the less) voices to set the mood. Exploration and inter-player interaction are my favourite elements of a system like D&D, but expect some exciting combat every session regardless! My experience with many different systems has allowed me to grab the positives from all of them to run the best game possible. Though I know and appreciate many of the rules, I am forgiving when it comes to having a good time and reward creative and out of the box thinking when it comes to finding a solution.

He is very open to your wants and ambitions (within reason obviously) and wants you to have fun playing the game. He goes the extra mile to make it a great experience. If you want a tough and gritty game where you may die at any time, he will do it. If you want a light and fun game which is a little less intense, just let him know. He is an amazing improviser and rolls with the players punches in and out of combat.
Mitch is an amazing GM. I've played in three different campaigns that he has run in various formats (e.g. online, in person), and each has been a grand ole' time. Mitch puts a ton of work into his craft, is incredibly creative and is happy to 'dance the dance' of creativity with his players, allowing you to shape your experience and be creative as is appropriate within the story. In the last little while he has even stepped up in NPC game, and the characters he has started adding to stories more and more add a dimension of depth (and sometimes hilarity or just plain fun) to the campaign.
I love Mitch's GMing style. It is the perfect blend of immersive role-playing and casual fun. I'm not big on heavy role-playing, so It was nice to be at a table where my style of play was welcomed and accepted. Whether you love getting into character, or just wanna socialize and experience the story, Mitch is great at suiting the needs of his players. His campaign was the first one I'd be in that involved people I didn't know since I usually play with friends. I was hesitant at first, but Mitch's friendly attitude and great narrative voice quickly sucked me into the game, and I was quickly invested with this party of people I didn't know.
Mitch is such an unreal GM! He is professional, hardworking and so fun to play with. Mitch adapts well to unexpected moments within games and makes an effort to communicate with players to create the best possible collaborative experience for all. He consistently finds fun ways to expand the narrative and create great scenarios in the moment. 110% would recommend Mitch
