About me
Hi, I am FinDM, Fin, or Ryan if you prefer. I have been running games since I was a child and have experience with many systems: dungeons and dragons, vampire the masquerade, changeling the dreaming, monster of the week, demon hunters a comedy of terrors, open legend, kids on bikes, kids on brooms, pugmire, and savage worlds. I am also a therapist who has been trained in TTRPGs (therapeutic tabletop role-playing games) by the Bodhana Group at their Save Against Fear Convention. I have proficiency in roll20 and fantasy grounds. I primarily like to use Discord for a voice service and have done so since 2015. Finally, I enjoy making custom tokens and maps for my games. I enjoy running inclusive games that are very LGBTQ+ friendly. I look forward to meeting new players and helping them develop stories and characters they will remember for a lifetime!
GM Style
I'm very flexible and role-play driven; the rules are there to guide us but are not the final say on anything since enjoyment of the players and what makes sense in the story are far more important. I enjoy running role-play campaigns and helping players develop the story while having a good time. Character concepts excite me and seeing how a player tries to achieve their goals drives me to match that energy. I am laid back and willing to let players try things as long as they are not ruining the experience for others. I typically run homebrews but am more than willing to run modules if requested enough. I try to do custom virtual tokens and maps for most games and really enjoy the challenge of making isometric maps (though my art skills are still developing, I get better every time I try).

Ryan does an incredible job with building worlds and allowing players to build and develop their character's story within the larger world and story. He works to keep the environment comfortable and safe for all players as well so that everyone can feel like part of the story and have fun. I enjoy that he focuses on telling a collaborative and creative story with the players.

This GM takes alot of time and thought in these games. The plots are well thought out, the care taken with maps, challenges and help for this Boomer with navigation of the screens has be awesome, and the running commentary, very insightful. I started out years ago in final fantasy exploits with this GM and somehow over the years he keeps us growing and moving into the ever evolving game world. He researches this field well, and then keeps the games ever edgy and exciting. Can't imagine another GM I've enjoyed this much.

Great and friendly DM, great with new players. He is always showing me new games or new books with content he thinks I might be interested in. Very friend to all players and respects boundaries, if somone is having a hard time with certain sceans that a player is not comfortable with he respects that and finds ways to move on other wise. Would highly recommend to new players or groups looking for a creative and friendly DM who is well versed in many system and like original or custom content that has twist and turn around every corner :3
