About me
I've DMed for 25 years, D&D and Star Wars. I'm a big "YES" DM when it comes to players wanting to make choices. The game should always be fun, but the story should also be serious. I use Roll20 for maps, tokens and art, and I use a lot of these assets in my games. Discord or Zoom for audio, and sometimes optional video. I like my games to usually be equal parts social interaction, fighting and puzzles. I also am big on doing NPC voices, and encourage my players to find their own PC's voice. I've also been highly reviewed by one of StartPlaying.Games' highest reviewed DM, DM BobYo. So... there's some real tabletop cred. =)

One of the things that makes this session so much fun is that the group gels together so well and really likes each other. Viper’s personality at the table and method of storytelling is really key to fostering that environment. In just a few sessions he had helped my character to feel like a part of the ensemble not just a part of the scenery. There’s a real dynamic to the cast and that’s pretty special. Hard to pin down how he does that.
Great game tonight with Viper! He did a great job of making the mission both challenging and surprising at the same time. I really felt the sense of danger in our situations, and Viper did an excellent job of letting everyone think through their individual ideas and strategize the right course of action. As a GM, Viper is very upbeat and full of light-hearted jokes, while making sure that everyone is having a good time and getting the most out of their D&D experience. Excellent GM, would recommend!!
Viper is a great DM. I say that without reservation. If you haven’t played with him yet, you should make it a point to do so. His Monday night Choose-Your-Own-Adventure drop-in series is a great compromise when you can’t necessarily commit to a weekly game but want some continuity from one session to the next. So far, they’ve all been very episodic, making it easy for someone to drop in or out. I like the extra things Viper does for his players, like making tokens and artwork, too.
