About Ralph

I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since I was a freshman in college, and believe me that was a while ago because I started with 1st Edition! I am a writer by trade (mostly) and I love to come up with original stories and put them in the universe of D&D. I like to run games that are inclusive, where everyone matters and everyone has a say and no one is chastised for their decisions. Fellowship is big with me!

I got started GMing...

After a couple of years of playing D&D, I dipped my toes in the waters of GM'ing and it is my favorite way to play games.

My favorite shows/movies are

Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Rogue One, Andor, Star Trek Strange New Worlds, For All Mankind, The Pitt... I could go on forever...

When I'm not running games I'm...

Writing fiction, both in prose and screenplay form. I paint mini's for my live TTRPG games. And spend time with family and friends.

How Ralph runs games

I enjoy world creation (having been a writer most of my life) mixed with the roleplaying aspects of TTRPG's as immersions into new worlds. I enjoy character interactions, solving mysteries, finding ways to challenge players in a fun way. My default is role playing but I also like a good dose of combat. Also, as a frustrated actor, I love getting into NPC specific voices!

Ralph's ideal table

Everyone is welcome at my table. I like to run a fun first, safe, inclusive and all voices matter game where there are no bad ideas... unless the dice say otherwise, lol. My goal is to entertain you and immerse you into a story you will care about.
