About the adventure

The continent of Wildemount has been ruined and destroyed. Something slithered out of a pit on the South East of the continent and changed a large part of the world forever. The hungering maws of an alien race have arrived upon the material plane and intend to consume the last remaining sources of magic on the continent of WIldemount. Can a group of heroes rise up and push them back into their imprisoned slumber, or will the world fall to the tentacled horde of its invaders? Hi, I am Matt and I am a huge fan of combat and exploration in Dungeons and Dragons 5e, but roleplay always has a place in our roleplaying games. I play 5th edition with very few rule changes, and would love to explore the ruins of a world freshly overrun by an alien horde with a group of players, experienced or all together new to the hobby.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players should have a microphone and a phone or computer with access to Roll20 and Discord. All gameplay will be online, and although webcams are preferred, they are not required. Players do not need to have any prior experience with 5th edition, but knowledge of the system will help.

What I provide

I will be setting up all maps, all game information, and will find illustrations for characters if needed. Roll20 will supply all dice rolls and character sheets.

Gameplay details

This game contains references to alcohol, drugs, violence, and alien takeovers. I maintain an open door policy with all of my games, and all players are able to walk out of any session and return for any reason without retaliation or judgement. If any players have any particular triggers they would like taken into account, there will be a discussion before the first session to get those triggers taken care of. If any of the above topics do not interest you as a player, talk with me about it and I will accommodate to the best of my ability.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 5. Players can create characters before the game to have ready for the start, I will have a few pre-generated options, and players can take time in the game with me to create characters if needed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
