About the adventure

Dragon Heist is a treasure hunt set against the urban backdrop of the Forgotten Realms' most famed city: Waterdeep, the City of Splendors. The adventure follows our heroes as they are drawn into violence flaring between rival crime syndicates, a hunt for an embezzled fortune sought after by numerous powerful foes, and the varied machinations and missions of the cities most prominent factions. If urban chase scenes, mysteries, puzzles, and above all, stealth-based heists are what you're looking for, my version of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is sure to deliver. Designed to take a party on a journey from 1st to 5th level, and perhaps a little further, this campaign has the opportunity to transition into a full-length 1st-20th level campaign in any number of different ways if the participants so choose. So whether you're looking for a moderate length campaign or a long-term romp, this adventure is for you.

How to prepare

Microphone is a definite must as we will be communicating via Discord. Everything else we'll be taking care of during our Session 0.

I provide the VTT and all the books on DND Beyond.

Gameplay details

Typical sessions can and should involve all three "pillars" of a good D&D game. We'll regularly shift from combat to NPC interactions to explorations, and sometimes we'll try to do all three at the same time! Nothing like grilling a swashbuckler during the middle of a roof-top chase-scene in mid-combat to get the blood pumping!

How will character creation work

Characters will start at 1st level and will be created on DND Beyond prior to, or during, our Session 0, which will be discounted down to $7.50 a head. I share all the published books via DND Beyond with my players, so you can ask for anything!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
