About the adventure
A rich merchant calls upon the aid of a few brave heroes willing to rescue his daughter from the clutches of a vampire lord before it's too late. This is a one-shot mainly meant for new players but any are welcome to join so long as they don't mind potentially playing with newbies. Characters will start and finish at level 5.

How to prepare
Please create a Discord and Forge VTT account if you don't already have those. Don't worry, both are free. We'll be using Discord to communicate and Forge VTT for playing the game. Also, double check that you have a working mic and headphones. Webcam's are optional but encouraged.

I will host the game on Forge/Foundry VTT which will house character sheets, tokens, dice, etc. I will also assist
Gameplay details
"The Vampire Bride" is a homebrew one-shot rescue mission. The players will be a team of semi-famous monster hunters on a mission to rescue a merchant's kidnapped daughter from a vampire lord. Combat is likely, but not all challenges need to be solved with violence. There will be maps for most of the general areas, especially areas where combat is possible, but there will also be splash page images to support theater of the mind.

How will character creation work
To help save time, I encourage those who already know how to make a character to do so on their own. If you need help, send me a description of your character and I'll build it for you. Regardless of which camp you fall in, please provide a basic physical description: gender, hair and skin color, and clothing color. That way, I can make a token for your character. Characters will be LVL 5 and use only Players' Handbook content and rules.
