About the adventure

Rumors persist of a long-forgotten fortress swallowed up by the earth a short distance from the small village of Oakhurst. Tales of treasure and glory lure adventurers from far and wide to delve into its lightless corridors. Many have ventured forth and never returned. Do you have what it takes to explore the perils of The Sunless Citadel? This is an adventure for Dnd 5e that takes characters from 1st to 3rd level.

How to prepare

While we play, we will be using discord to voice call and Roll20 for the rest, you will need to have an account for each (which are free) and have a computer to play on! An adequate headset or mic with enough noise cancellation to not interfere with the other players’ experience will be required. Prior to Session 0, players will be given an invite to a Discord group for the game which will provide a way for them to contact myself and the other players in the group. Each player will also be given an invite to the game on Roll20.

What I provide

- A dedicated Discord server. - Roll20 Pro with fully detailed maps and dynamic lighting with 1000s of hours of experience with it. - Full Roll20 compendium access. - APIs and macros for ease of play. - Art handouts, music, and audio ambience for further immersion.

Gameplay details

Players can expect engrossing combat, immersive exploration, and plenty of opportunities for roleplay. - During session 0, which will be free, we will get to know each other, create characters together, talk about expectations, table rules, and if there is enough time and players left, we will play a short intro session. - I like to start each session with a short recap of the previous session. - During play I like to take a short break at the end of each hour. - I like to leave a little time at the end of the session to talk about the session or any other concerns. - I encourage players to direct message me on Discord anytime including during play to raise concerns, ask questions, or to deal with any other issues if they want to do that privately.

How will character creation work

During session 0 players will make their characters together, with me being there to provide any help necessary. Since the characters start the adventure knowing each other, the players will be encouraged to make their characters together to form a cohesive group of adventurers. Players starting the adventure will make 1st level characters and players joining later will make characters equal to current party level.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
