About the adventure

When the night grows long in Waterdeep, City of Splendors, and the fireplace in the taptoom of the Yawning Portal dims to a deep crimson, adventurers from the Sword Coast spin tales and rumors of lost treasures. One in particular catches your fancy - the tale from a one eyed dwarf who tells of a castle that fell deep into the earth, and whose ruins stand above a subterranean grove dominated by by a tree that spawns evil. The Sunless Citadel is the first installment of Tales from the Yawning portal, starting at Level 1. Whether you seek knowledge, gold, or glory, it is time to descend into this ancient subterranean citadel and discover its secrets. Experienced DM looking for new players to join in this great adventure. Roleplay and creative solutions encouraged! Join us in our decent into the citadel!
