About the adventure
In the lands of Kor, hundreds of tribes gather under a cruel and cunning tyrant whose ambitions are set on an empire in decline. In Rosecyea, once proud and prosperous, desperate figures struggle to uncover the secrets that lead to their inevitable demise. In the capital of Lysea, a band of adventurers form together as the empire’s last hope for salvation from a holy war, the Jihad of Wrestborax. This is a grand epic adventure that promotes epic heroic fantasy with dark and grim elements sprinkled throughout. This is a campaign I plan for the party to explore the world of Escalera, visiting many nations and places of wonder, encountering all kinds of monsters and dilemmas. I encourage the party to take on a heroic role as there’s many evils in the world but will give them many opportunities to overcome and change things for the better. This is for people who really like epic storytelling in a saga like fashion similar to Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. Players will have a chance to affect political affairs, save settlements, encounter hordes and a variety of monsters. I also ty in backstories to the overall story and do my best to give all players a chance to shine.

How to prepare
I expect all players to have a mic and discord. Webcams are not required. I do require access to character sheets and you may roll dice physically or digitally.
What I provide
I will provide a server with several channels, both audio and text. The text channels will be there for note taking, lore dropping, visuals, and general chat. I will also have the Avrae bot on discord for dice rolling and general look up of offical things. I’ll have a webcam myself for potential use of visuals as well using miniatures, terrain pieces and other tokens.
Gameplay details
I added all the warning content tags that have a possibility of being in the game, but are not necessarily a guarantee. For session zero I’m open to discuss what everyone is and isn’t comfortable with and will always be available for private messages in or out of game regarding comfort and safety. So I use and allow most of official 5e material. I use 3rd party material and homebrew in my games as well. Destiny Points. Everyone gets two. This is an out of game wish to the DM if approved can save a character from death or change the course of the story in unforeseen ways!

How will character creation work
All characters will start at level 1 with point buy for stats and can be created anywhere that I can access and view. I would like to finalize and approve characters in game. You can make one beforehand and discuss it with me in pms.
