About the adventure

For 125 years the continent of Equilox has been what most people call calm. Sure, there are still monsters, wild beasts and the occasional crazed magician. But so far, there has not been a real need for heroes… but you are called back to the orphanage where you grew up together and witness the fall of one the strongest on the continent. A campaign about bonds, adventures, family, justice, and much more. For committed players, taking place in a homebrew world. A world with an old Norse pantheon but in a 5e fantasy setting. You, the players, were gathered by an old adventurer to an orphanage that he runs based on a vision his god gave him. Either you were found or he asked your parents if they would allow you to come with him. You grow up together in a strict but loving environment in the countryside. The orphanage is a mix between a home, a school and a place for laying groundwork to perhaps become adventurers ready to face the world outside. You find your own way in the world, but will be called back to the orphanage 10 years later. I am currently running two other versions of the campaign. It draws inspiration from all sorts of media, i.e. “Mass Effect,” “The Witcher”, “God of war”, “Dragon Age”, and more.

Additional Details

How to prepare

All things will be digital except for your personal notes. A decent mic/headset, if agreed upon a decent webcam, free login at world anvil, forge and dndbeyond and a discord all those are few and very easy to create. Nothing needs to be installed.

What I provide

I will bring a story to life with you as one of its main protagonists, a lot of dndbeyond material and a adventure with possible lifetime friends.

Gameplay details

Investigation: You manage to search the desk and find the hidden compartment, but you knock a vase to the ground, alerting enemies in the next room. Deception: They’ll go along with your lie, but only for a bribe or a favor in return. * Characters gain a level of exhaustion at end of combat if they are knocked unconscious. * When a trap activate the dm says click and the people closest to the trap will get a “reaction” what you do might lower or raise the damage. * Flanking gives you +2 to an attack *Silvery barbs d longer works on saving throws.

How will character creation work

Starting level is 1, we will create them either in group or 1-1, I will help you through the entire process and come with tips of suggestions. And help you make a backstory that is able to grow and make sure it will have an impact on the game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
