    About the adventure

The Lost Mine of Phandelver: Journey to the Forgotten Realms to the town of Phandelver and rediscover the ancient mine lost thousands of years ago Storm King’s Thunder: Ages ago, giants and dragons waged war across the Savage Frontier. These battles are long forgotten by the human civilizations of today, but ancient relics remain. And now, the land shudders once more with the thunder of giant footsteps. Puny adventurers must rise to the challenge, gather their strength, unlock the power of ancient runes, and take the fight to the giants’ doorsteps. Only then can they forge an alliance to end the war before it begins. This set of Wizards of the Coast hardcover adventures takes our party from level 1 through 11 and explores the breadth and depth of Faerun, the traditional D&D 5E setting’s mortal realm. It contains a healthy balance of world and dungeon exploration, roleplay opportunities, and intense combat. In my games I encourage creative problem solving, character-driven decision making, and a collaborative atmosphere. First time players welcome.

    How to prepare

You will need a computer, headphones, and a microphone (fine if it’s an integrated mic in your computer or headphones). We will be using Roll20 as a virtual tabletop, and you can use it for rolling dice. If you prefer the click-clack of the shiny math rocks, you are absolutely welcome to roll at home.

    What I provide

I'll be providing the Discord server, Roll20 game, and hardcover adventures for this campaign.

    Gameplay details

I am prepared to use an anonymous Consent Checklist (resulting in Lines and Veils), and X cards. Please note that these adventures rely somewhat on traditionally problematic portrayals of some races (especially goblinkin and giants). I do what I can to tear down some of these coding-based shortcuts, but I know I have not done this perfectly. I am always open to feedback on this subject.

    How will character creation work

We’ll be creating characters together via discussion on my discord server and a session 0. You are welcome to use Roll20's built in character sheets, dndbeyond.com (useful for first-time folks as their character creation wizard is great), or good 'ole pen and paper. If you use dndbeyond, I recommend installing the beyond20 browser extension so you can roll in Roll20 directly from your character sheet.
