How to prepare

Microphone is required. A webcam is encouraged but not absolutely necessary. It will go quicker if you already have roll20 and discord accounts. Character sheets will be run via d&d beyond. I'll share the campaign link during session 0.

What I provide

I bring the experience of someone who's been playing TTRPGs for over 25 years, and running games for most of that combined with the knowledge and experience of a psychologist to make a game that's--hopefully--engaging, entertaining, immersive, and welcoming for all kinds of players. I have almost every book on D&D Beyond, which you'll have access to while in the campaign. I'll be using roll20 for maps and gameplay. And I'll be using Discord or Google Meets (depending on what the party prefers) for voice/video options and other visual aids.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 1 and will likely progress to level 2 or 3 by the end of the session. Characters will be created during session 0, all you need to bring with you is a vague idea of what kind of character you'd like to run. Just remember you'll be starting at 1st level from a simple rural community.
