About the adventure
A dark and stormy night like this hadn't been seen for some time in this little fishing hamlet. The old men say it's a bad omen... Welcome to this D&D5e oneshot! Should you choose to embark, you'll be fighting monsters along the Sword Coast, exploring the wreck of a cursed ship, and (hopefully) put an end to the evil that inhabits it. Fun for everyone, in a party of Level 3 Adventurers! This adventure was written by a friend of mine specifically for introducing new people to the game. But it's a neat little experience for veteran players as well. Light themes and guaranteed fun, this Oneshot is perfect for all groups, from the family looking to spend an afternoon to the hardcore dungeon junkie. Get some snacks and get comfy, this will probably be very silly

How to prepare
You need at the very least a Discord Account, as that is what we'll be using to talk. Also hardware that can let you talk to us, so a smartphone or a PC with a mic. I'd also strongly advise having Wi-Fi connection or an unlimited data plan, as these games can potentially consume quite the bandwith. With this, you're set to play, everything else helps but it's not strictly required Ideally you'd want: >A Discord Account >A Roll20 Account >A PC (or Mac, or Laptop) that can run both >Headphones >A Webcam (absolutely not required to use it if you don't feel like showing your face) >A Microphone (many headphones and webcams come with one) >Stable Internet Connection with unlimited data (WiFi or some nice mobile plan)
What I provide
I will give a pre-made character to any player that needs one. I will provide art for places we'll visit and NPCs we'll meet, in order to improve immersion. I alsohave a Roll20 Plus account, so we can have fun with Dynamic Lighting (realistic shadows and blind spots) on the battlemaps. I halso have all the maps required here, made by yours truly.

How will character creation work
I have a folder full of pre-made characters for this one-shot. If you're new to the system or RPGs in general, you don't need to worry about making your own. For more experienced 5e player: you can bring your own character, just let me know in advance. Here's all the info you need to build it: Level 3, use the standard point-buy for ability scores, and I generally allow (for races, classes, feats, etc) all that's been printed in an official book. If you want to try out a homebrew, DM me first.
