The Gnoll Knoll

Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20

Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Roll20

About the adventure

The Gnoll Knoll takes place outside a small crossroads town named Scarpo. When the town's mine goes silent, the local Gnoll population is quickly identified as the problem. However, when the first group of rookie adventurers doesn't come back from the mine, your group of seasoned adventurers is sent in. What at first looks like a routine mission turns out to be anything but. Clear the mine, find out what happened to the last group, and discover the secrets of the Gnoll Knoll!

Additional Details

How to prepare

Roll20 and Discord will be used for the game. Webcam is not necessary, but a microphone will be. If you are new to D&D, a cursory read over of the rules would be appreciated, but not necessary, as I will gladly go over the rules with any new players before the game. Characters will need to be created for the game. You can have pre-built characters and import them into the game, however, we will still go over them together to make sure they fit the rules.

What I provide

I will be bringing my best abilities to make an enjoyable and interesting game!

Gameplay details

Players will be delving into a dark mine to explore and fight. Gnoll Knoll will contain nothing that wouldn't be on a TV show. I will ask all players before session what content they would like to avoid and possible triggers. These will be explained to all players before the session starts and these will be hard lines that will not be crossed.

Content warnings

    (none)

Safety tools used

How will character creation work

Your characters will be level 8. Anything SRD is completely okay while Unearthed Arcana will need to be run by me first. I will go over each character sheet with the player to make sure everything is set. If you are new, I will gladly take time before session to go over the process of character creation and aid you in making the character you would like to play.
