The Final showdown against Orcus, a 5e Level 20 one shot

About the adventure

The armies of Orcus swept across the material plane like wild fire, mercilessly destroying entire nations, wiping out whole cultures and reducing them all to nothing more then undead slaves. The initial onslaught was without warning and quite severe, catching even the staunchest defenders unawares. Little time had passed before his armies pushed the various beings of the material plane into despair and potential extinction, they had no choice but to band together, regardless of prior grievances or ignorant racisms they united under one banner led by a Gold Dragon named Yurthriax. 5 years of brutal fighting have since passed, each time the alliance had lost even a single member they were forced to endure Orcus's army growing that much stronger. Through the sheer force of will and what seemed to be miracle of the divines the Alliance was able to push Orcus and his army back into his final strong hold. As joyous as that was in the moment, that was a year ago this monumental shift in power happened and the prolonged siege has proven mostly ineffective. Yurthriax has decided to summon the strongest beings of the realm to fight for the Alliance, to confront Orcus directly, and to hopefully save this world..... To help accomplish that Yurthriax will launch a massive offensive to punch a whole just big enough to get the group inside so they may confront him directly. Once inside, it's all up to you. Can you and your team mates prove to be Orcus's better? Can you save the material plane from the never ending threat of an undead apocalypse? Come join the challenging level 20 one shot and put yourself to the test!

How to prepare

All you need is a working internet connection An account on Discord The ability to speak English (I apologize, I do not speak more languages) The Beyond 20 extension, to allow your rolls from dnd beyond to appear in roll 20 A mic we can here you from, A dnd beyond account and a character created on dnd beyond (its free and if you do not have access to much or any content on dndbeyond I will share mine, just let me know!) A picture for a token(or a premade token works as well!) A friendly attitude Finally an apatite for adventure!!

How will character creation work

Hello everyone, we will be using DnD 5e content and anything official is allowed, no third party or homebrew please (Critical Role stuffs is allowed). A few things to note here : We will be using voice chat, feel free to use video as well but I am just using voice. Character creation will be done on DnD Beyond, you can use anything I have access to but if you'd rather build and send me a link that also works fine. I will send you the DnD beyond link as well as the Discord and Roll20 link once you have joined. The game will be held on Roll 20. A 10 min break will occur between the 90-120 min mark depending on combat. Home Brew Rules: Potions may be used as an Action or Bonus action (It takes an action to feed another player a potion) Flanking is in play Characters are to be made prior to the game at level 20. (If you need help just let me know I am very happy to help) Point buy or standard array. No Wish or Simulacrum. No Variant Human or Custom Lineage, otherwise all of Tasha's alternate rules are ok. All players start with a free feat at level 1. Players begin with 1 Legendary, 1 Very Rare and 1 uncommon , 2000 gp to spend on potions and additional magic items (using Sanes magic item list link below for prices ) (Mundane weapons and armor are free within reason.
