About the adventure

After having been accepted into a school to learn the arcane arts, on your very first day, you begin exploring the school grounds curiously and soon stumble upon a dusty chamber containing an old mirror. You inadvertently fall into the mirror and are unable to escape. What do you do? --- Are you new to Dungeons & Dragons? If you're been watching Stranger Things on Netflix as I have, then maybe you've thought about what it would take to kill a Demogorgon. Personally, I've never battled one as a player, nor have I conjured one for my players to face. But unless I'm plunging into the depths of the Abyss with a small army of epic-level companions, I try to avoid them. Most Dungeon Masters start you out at level one and let you figure things out yourself. But if you're new to D&D in my game, you will be starting at level zero. You will learn D&D by playing, picking out your class (and maybe even your race), while being guided by various story characters you meet in your adventures along the way. No prior knowledge of the game is required. I specialize in helping players with zero knowledge of the game. Character creation is one of D&D’s most critical aspects. It's often the very aspect that many DMs overlook. Beginning entirely in the theater of the mind, I'll make sure that you take a central role in a story about you and your future adventuring companions. How to prepare

Players should have access to a webcam and mic (preferably a headset) before playing. Relatively quiet surroundings are required. Once you have joined the game, you will be given links to join our D&D Beyond campaign and Discord server. A free D&D Beyond account and free Discord account is all you will need to start.

What I provide

While you are a member of one of my campaigns, you will have access to every commercially released book and resource available on D&D Beyond (a nearly 900 dollar value), free of charge.

Gameplay details

If you have any themes that make you uncomfortable to the extent that it depletes you of the game's fun, please inform me before the start of the campaign on Discord so that I may accommodate you accordingly.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen during the game. You will not need to prepare a character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
