About the adventure

Apocalyptic Steampunk Fantasy - Low Magic There was always whispers of magic, rumors where the veil is thin. 100 days ago, the city's government had showed off the discovery of the arcane to the world. A large festival was held with a showcase of prestidigitation and "real" illusions to debut this new age of magic. A week later, the zombies arrived. The story starts several months after the outbreak. The city is under a strict quarantine and no one is allowed to leave, while the rest of the world continues to exist. The damage is done and people have either found a way to survive, died, or turned. Be aware: Magic will be treated with great skepticism and fear as many link its arrival with the outbreak.

How to prepare

A microphone will be required and players will need to provide a copy of their character sheet before the 1st session. Session 0 will be provided for more setting notes and character creation. They can use dndbeyond or roll20 to fill their sheet out.

What I provide

I will bring my expertise in improvisation and the ability to "yes, and" most suggestions. I want to build a story with everyone at the table that is a unique and organic experience. I will present you with freedom in storytelling and choices for your characters. I will also be bringing maps and access to the sourcebooks above.

How will character creation work

This type of setting will have the biggest payoff the characters are part of the world when the events started. Starting at high levels means you could've been closer to where it all started. This is not required, but recommended. Session 0 will explore these things. Players are expected to create and bring character using the following.
