About the adventure

Sparking beams of force barrage the pile of rubble as you dive down behind it. You hear some of the stonework debris come loose and tumble as the beams grind away at your cover, piece by piece. Clutching your arcane wand, you chance a peek over the top. You see the force beam projectors—ancient magic defenses that have sprung to life after centuries sitting idle. One well-placed wall of force would let you slip right by them, you think...a bolt passes clean through your hat! You duck back down. "Wizard! Transform me into that giant ape again! I'll go smash them," your ally calls to you. You see them pinned behind an old column of a strange architectural style—and you see the stonework wearing thin. The pillar will collapse on them soon! You have to do something quickly...but the last time you cast spells that powerful, a surge of magic from the broken weave nearly struck you dead on the spot. Then again, that other wizard you fought had that protective barrier spontaneously conjure on herself when she tried to disintegrate you...ah, hells—let nobody call you cowards after this! You point your magic wand at your ally and speak the incantation for your transformation spell...and immediately feel the fractured weave going awry in your hands. They spark with lightning. Oh, no. A World Unbroken (...the actual name of the adventure) is a short level 18 campaign from the Uncaged: Goddesses adventure anthology. Explore the ruins of old Netheril, the ancient civilization of wizards whose hubris once nearly ended the world. Search for way to restore the goddess of magic before the chaos of her broken domain brings about a cataclysm once again. You're in a race against time—and against the minions of the party responsible for this mess in the first place. You're not alone in your quest, but still—cast with care, wizard.

How will character creation work

Characters will be level 18, and completed character sheets should be brought to the game. In-depth backstories are not required for this particular game—a set of traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws ought to be enough, as long as your character is willing to work together with others. A selection of pre-made characters is also available to choose from in Roll20.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: High
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Low
