“So You Want To Be A Hero?” The gruff looking Leader of the Guard’s Watch spits out the question almost like a curse rather than an affirmation that he has received your forms after you’ve spent close to an hour in line after countless mind numbing line to get here. “Well let’s get a proper look at ye then… and see what we have got to work with.” He shifts his chair back and stands up looking you over. “Hmm, maybe somewhere in there we can find something to work with… follow me, I can group you up with some others who’ve just passed their entrance exam and we’ll get you going through some scenarios. So You Want To Be A Hero? is an intro one shot I’ve dreamed up to introduce you to the wonderful world of Theiadar. It is a place I hope you will love as much as I have enjoyed crafting it. There are places of wonder and wizardry, darkness and betrayal, mystery and mischief. There are adventures to be had the world over, and this is where it all begins. This one shot is my gift to give, free of charge in the hopes that you will love the small sampling and perhaps tune in for more. Your adventurer can happily continue their story if you’d like, or feel free to bring in a totally new you into the campaign that follows afterwards. Either way I have one thing to ask you. So, you want to be a hero?

How to prepare

Webcam and mic are preferred but webcam is optional. I allow rolling of physical dice or use of a digital dice roller if you do not have dice of your own. Feel free to print out your sheet and use it or have a digital way of using it. I can recommend options @ session 0

What I provide

This will be done Theatre of the Mind style, but I hope to be able to create a form of party pop culture type poster for players to enjoy afterwards on the discord.

Gameplay details

This game is rated E for Everyone. There are moments of Fantasy Violence, but not gore or anything overtly descriptive. I will be making use of a Session 0 and going over Lines and Veils with the players. I enjoy running a game of possibilities. If you can describe to me what you wish to do, I will more than likely help you find a way to make that thing happen, it may not be successful, but the fun is in the trying. Actions do have consequences in my world, so tread carefully, you never know who has fallen in love with that sooty little begger, or that loud obviously too loud orc… Come sit and let’s tell a story.

How will character creation work

Characters will begin at Level 3 using standard array for character creation. They will be created during session 0. HP will be calculated at maximum Hitpoints.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
