About the adventure

The players are assassins and agents of a fanatical death cult hiding in a secret lair beneath the Queen's capitol in a low-magic fantasy world. Recruited and trained from childhood, their missions are to accomplish tasks, gain information, and eliminate targets, all without drawing attention to themselves or leaving any clues. They must be not murderous thugs but instead mysterious daggers in the night, infiltrators, and doers of the impossible. They must play factions against each other, create distrust and disruption in the ranks of other churches, and accomplish the goals of their dark god, Naveh. Nothing less than careful planning, creativity, and quick improvisation will lead to success. Because, for a god like Naveh, failure means death.

How will character creation work

The players and GM consult on character ideas. Rolls are done in Roll20 so everyone can see. If the first stat roll seems hard to work with, players can then opt to roll one more time, accepting the 2nd set of stats, or then switch to point-buy or standard array.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: High
  • Puzzles: Medium
  • Experience Level: Open to all
