About the adventure

Pearls and pirates’ gold. A withering coma and a witch below the sea. All these things whirl in your mind like eddies in the bay as you fasten off the rope. You tug and find it taut—good. As you scan the macabre cavern, littered with the bones of ships and mortals, you see your wizard is nearly finished with their ritual. The fighter is putting the last bits of rock and flotsam in place now—okay, the barricade is ready. Ready for what, exactly, remains unclear, but it's ready. You see the artificer give you the thumbs-up from the beached ship's crow's nest. And that glittering red aura around the ship itself? You're just going to have to—"ACTION BEGINS IN FIVE...FOUR..." Gods above. How did you get yourself into this? Seven Tears by the Sea is an adventure from volume III of the critically-acclaimed Uncaged adventure anthology. Every character has a story—even the monsters. Uncaged subverts the tropes of female monsters from real myth and folklore, and re-tells these stories interactively in D&D. How will character creation work

Characters will be level 5, and completed character sheets should be brought to the game. In-depth backstories are not required for this particular game—a set of traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws ought to be enough, as long as your character is willing to work together with others.
