About the adventure

A new campaign for new characters. New players welcome! The city of Sanctuary is built on the ruins of an ancient civilization, and as such has a multitude of tunnels and passageways leading into the depths below. Some of these passages are well known, while some are less so. Recently, rumors have been circulating about a secret gathering in the depths, but the details are shrouded in cryptic messages beckoning anyone savvy enough to decipher the time and location of this gathering.

How to prepare

Please have the Discord app on your preferred device as well as DnD Beyond, and a functional mic. I prefer if players have a webcam so that we all can see the people we're playing with, but it's not required.

What I provide

I have my own Discord server with bots to help with rolling and DnD Beyond integration.

Gameplay details

I like to think of roleplaying games as a way to tell a story cooperatively. You focus on your main character's story and I'll focus on keeping the world and NPCs interesting. With that in mind, I like to communicate openly out of character when needed to express any lines or veils that are of concern to you, especially at the start of the game. In general, I like to keep sex and murder/slaughter (non-combat killing) veiled, and I have no interest in roleplaying rape. It's fine if you have some of these as part of your back story in some way, but for me I don't want extended descriptions of it at the "table".

How will character creation work

Starting at level 1. I'm happy to help you create a character, and you are welcome to create your character before hand. I prefer starting equipment only, however if you have a compelling reason in your back story for a minor magic item I am open to discussing it. I strongly prefer you build your character in DnD Beyond using Point Buy for character stats.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
