About the adventure

AT MY SIGNAL, UNLEASH HELL! The Delimbiyr Vale has known a decade of peace following the rise of the cult of the Red Hand. The valley, as well as the town of Loudwater, has flourished after adventurers defeated the threat posed by the hobgoblin armies. But now, from out of the mountains to the north-east, a new threat has emerged. Natives of Loudwater have been abducted, and the town’s war museum—dedicated to those fallen in the war against the Red Hand—has been raided and desecrated. Meanwhile, beyond the Vale, the rumbling rumors of more trouble have begun to surface. Rumors of warbands forming beyond the mountains… Monsters crawling forth from the dark bowels of the world… And people everywhere have begun waking up at night in a cold sweat, uncertain where their feelings of dismay and panic come from… Why do you make your way into the Vale? Do you follow the heroes call? Are you forced into conscription with a mercenary company? When the war drums beat, will you follow the march to war, wherever that may lead? Scales of War is a epic campaign starting at level one then going into epic levels (past level 20), following the drums of war into the Outer Planes. ◆ Defend a city against an attack led by a dragon-riding githyanki. ◆ Lead 100 heroes in an assault on an extra-planar githyanki shipyard. ◆ Travel to the Githyanki city of Tu'Narath and help spark a rebellion led by Gith herself. ◆ Lead the forces of Bahamut into the city of Brass to destroy Tiamat's stronghold. How to prepare

You just need: -Discord -A free D&D beyond account -A web browser -Enthusiasm This game is open to all, so if you've never had experience with D&D before, you're welcome to join!

What I provide

A deep well of lore to make things interesting & immersive without lore dumping. I will bring everything else we need to run the game. DND Beyond Compendium A diverse cast of NPC's and terrifying beasts converted from older editions of the game.

Gameplay details

My table has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, sexual harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other prejudicial behavior. Those who can't abide by these standards will be asked to leave with no refund. I will send a digital Lines & Veils document to all players which we'll go over in the beginning of the session.

How will character creation work

▶ I share my D&D Beyond content through a Campaign Link ▶ Character creation using point buy. ▶ We will use average health. ▶ All WOTC sourcebooks are available, no banned content. ▶ If you don't want to make a character, that's fine. I have a list of pre-generated characters available.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
