About the adventure

Learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition in a fun and inclusive environment. Zero experience necessary. This is a short, new-player-friendly adventure with level 3 pregen characters. We'll walk you through everything you need to know. It's best described as Firefly meets Avatar: The Last Airbender, and will introduce you to the world of tabletop roleplaying in a fully homebrew setting that is persistent and impacted by the choices you make during the session. --------- [Insert Game Description Pitch] The best way to learn is by playing. Let's get started - take a seat.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Voice communication is required for this campaign, and video is optional. You will need a microphone and/or headset (yes, your phone will work). No webcam necessary. You'll also need a stable internet connection and a free account with Zoom and DNDBeyond. If you need additional accessibility options, please let me know in advance and I'll make the arrangements before we start our session.

What I provide

Everything we need to play will be located within Zoom, DNDBeyond, and occasionally Tableplop. Zoom will be for voice/text chat. DNDBeyond is for character sheets and dice rolling. Tableplop is for ambient music, visual aids for encounters, imagery for NPC's and artifacts, etc. If you've never used these tools in the past, we'll get you up to speed in no time, and you can always ask questions during the session.

Gameplay details

This game contains adult themes, depictions of violence, and the use of intoxicants. The safety tools we'll be using are: Lines, Veils, X-Card(s), & Open Door. If you are unfamiliar with these tools, I will provide you with all the details before we start. Expect a relatively fast-paced game with an emphasis on entertainment value.
