About the adventure

Residents have been going missing from Hetti. Word is that a cloaked man, accompanied by three crones, spirit them away to a different realm. Some of these people return, although their minds are muddled with false memories. They remain disillusioned, as if they are wandering through a beautiful forest, picking sparkling green berries from abundant flora. Beyond false memories, they return with broken hands and fingers; fungus grows from their ears, and their complexions are pallid. Those that return don't survive long, and whispers grow of one known as the Emerald Sun.

How to prepare

You will need a microphone, no need for a webcam. In order to best use Roll20, you will need a desktop or laptop PC. We will roll using the virtual dice in Roll20, and use Virtual Character Sheets in Roll20. A basic understanding of D&D is preferred to play this game.

What I provide

I'll make sure to create custom battle maps, world maps, NPC's, and some core books into Roll20.

Gameplay details

This game can contain some dark themes (gore, death.) I draw the line at pretty much all sexual themes, that includes for PC's. Let's keep this PG-13.

How will character creation work

Characters can be created using all core published WOTC content from 5th edition. Characters will begin at 2nd level. Please create characters beforehand. Once your position is claimed, I will assign you a character sheet in Roll20. Find yourself a picture online that you would like to represent your character, and that will be your token. (No Gifs) To roll stats, we will use SecureDice (https://www.rpglibrary.org/software/securedice/) send results to GM: jared_to_the_max@hotmail.com Roll 7D6, Drop the lowest Dice. Roll 7 sets, Drop the lowest result. The 6 best stats are your Ability Scores! If you could create a short 300 word backstory for your character using the Ortus Map provided, that would be great! Please include: At least one familiar contact, hometown, your goal. Try to make sure your characters are on the Good Aligned spectrum, Chaotic Neutral at the worst. Your characters are just starting out, so try not to make them seem like gods just yet - you'll get there.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
