Additional Details

How to prepare

You do not need a webcam, but talking over a voice chat will be mandatory. You also do not need to understand the rules perfectly as I will be the medium for the game taken place and understand them myself, if you have any concerns, I can help. The only software you will need will be Discord. On top of everything, I have access to every book for 5e and will share that information with players who have signed up during the session 0. The best thing to prepare for my games will be having art for your character and a general idea of the backstory of your character ready to go when we go over it. You can have a character already completely finished but understand that if you rolled for stats, you will reroll them on top of us going through your backstory in depth.

What I provide

I own a software key for Foundry VTT in which the games will take place, if you are unfamiliar with the software, I will teach you and provide you with the information to use it effectively, on my end, it is a downloadble application, but on your end, it will open up in your browser. It's basically a better Roll20. I also do a bunch of voices for NPCs to increase immersion in games. The entire story is created by me in addition to the world.

Gameplay details

Session 0 will be free and will be where we cover anything and everything. DMs will be open at all times for players for any questions and concerns they may have. We will also cover additional rules to make the game more fun, discuss what topics are going to be uncomfortable for individuals as to avoid unfun environments, character sheet creation, player's guide to utilizing Foundry VTT, and much more. Player feedback will always be welcomed. In addition, we will have regular talks after sessions to discuss what can be improved for the groups' specific interests. Game time is always going to be seperate from real life, this is and will always be true in games. If you have any other concerns or questions, you can always message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How will character creation work

You have the option of choosing any of the 3 ways to acquire your stats, you can use point buy, standard array, if you are rolling for stats, you must do during session or after you have messaged me and have me there during the rolls. You are not required to have a character concept before session 0 but it will always be helpful if you have an idea of what you will be playing. The level of starting character in this game will be level 3.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
