About the adventure

Consider yourself cordially invited to a One-shot (or Two-Shot) for level 5 characters. (Beginners welcome!) After clearing the Mines of Phandelver, our heroes make their way back to Neverwinter to spend their hard earned fortunes. However, along the Triboar Trail, thing may not be as settled as they seem. This game will be ran with voice and video through Discord. Voice is a must. Video feed is preferred, but optional. Character sheets ran through the D&DBeyond application. Map functions through the browser-based Owlbear.rodeo Virtual Tabletop. Special accommodations can and will be made for players who are unable to utilize one or more of the recommended applications. This game is open to players of all kinds, and the only real request if to respect your fellow players.

How to prepare

A webcam, mic, and a ready-made Level 5 character is ideal. This game will be played through Discord as well, so a Discord account is a must. If you are unable to create a character don't sweat. We will guide you through the process.

What I provide

I have spent the last twenty years on and off stage entertaining people with my stories. Access to a private Discord server, online maps, and multiple sourcebooks via DnDbeyond are honestly the least of what I bring to the table.

Gameplay details

Before this session begins, there will be a short discussion about what sort of content can be expected as baked into the campaign and what sort of content our Players may or may not bring into the game. Private messages about game preferences are welcome as well. We will also discuss what the Players are and are not comfortable with. I lean heavy on Lines and Veils to keep my players comfortable and make sure everyone has a good time. I use hard lines and soft lines, and prefer to have the group as a whole determine a "Warning" word, for soft stops, upon which I can set up a veil or fade to black. I also prefer to employ a "Safe" word, for hard stops, upon which all narrative stops, and either a group discussion or private discussion will commence on how I can better serve the player(s). I take my time as your DM seriously, and I want us all to have fun together! Each session wraps up with an after game chat, for decompression, revelry and chat.
