Red Hand Of Doom (Updated for D&D 5e)

About the adventure

You and your party have have come across an old map in a treasure horde of a Spectator, confused and hoarding everything for its long dead masters. The map shows the location of Vraath Keep, and hints at a hidden vault full of treasure beneath it. You set out for a town called Drellin's Ferry, which seems to be the place to use as a base of operations for searching the Witchwood for this ancient keep.

How to prepare

A webcam and mic are required. I hope for players to have at least a bare-bones understanding of the game, especially because of the starting level, however I have introduced dozens of people to the game at this point and I always love having new people join the hobby!

What I provide

Everything is online, I will provide maps, and during character creation we will find/make tokens for players to use on the map.

Gameplay details

A typical session has some combat (possibly with random encounters depending on group interest), as much roleplay as the players are comfortable with, and a bit of planning and intrigue. The enemies are set up to be smart and constantly planning; going in without a plan is liable to get your character in a hole they may not be able to get out of.

How will character creation work

Characters should start at 5th level, and we'll make them in the first session. Roll20 has great character sheets and allows for dice rolling with combat maps if needed. I have all of the core rulebooks as well as the four extra books (Xanathar's, Volo's, Mordenkainen's and Tasha's), which allows for lots of diversity in ancestry and class!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
