    About the adventure

The Razor Coast is a sprawling region of treacherous coastline, deadly reefs, and even more dangerous people. This campaign gives players the opportunity to come together to build their own legend on the seas in ways unlike any others. The Razor Coast is a living world that has multiple other crews operating at the same time, giving you the opportunity to shape the world of, and in turn have your world shaped, by the actions of other players. The Razor is a complex place of factions, alliances, and intersecting plot threads that allow you, the player, to choose exactly how to make your legend come to life!

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

Players will need at minimum a microphone, however webcams are recommended as roleplaying games are more fun when they're face to face! Players will be expected to know the game rules of course, as well as have a grounding in the provided setting detail, enough that they can feel comfortable. Dice and character sheets will be handled digitally, but you should have a copy of your own as well.

    What I provide

Aside from the roleplay and story, I provide a fully setup virtual tabletop complete with maps, tokens, sheets, music, and ambience. As well, I sometimes do illustrations of campaign scenes when time allows!

    Gameplay details

While of course fighting monsters and delving dungeons will be a part of the campaign, players should expect to spend time engaging with the world and navigating through it via decision making, NPC interaction, ship navigation, and piecing together hidden secrets and mysteries. You're not just adventurers sent out to clear a dungeon, you're freebooters destined to carve your own mark on the world! A typical session will involve spending some time engaging with your ship, its' crew, and plotting its' course towards your next destination, choosing where and when to stop, chase, plunder, or flee from other ships and settlements! There will be lots of roleplay, character engagement, and players should be motivated to make their own way in the world!

    How will character creation work

Players will be provided with a PDF and/or WorldAnvil document that provides information on the world and how to build characters that fit in it. Players are free to build characters themselves, but I will be in touch to help flesh out each character and help you make sure everything is complete, full of interesting story hooks, and ready to go! In addition, every player will be asked to create 3 NPCs for their character to be connected to in order to give players a stronger foothold and a resource to share once play starts!

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: Medium
    • Roleplay: High
    • Puzzles: Low
    • Experience Level: Beginner
