About the adventure

In a world where thousands of nations have risen and fallen for over 10,000 years, the 7 nations of the world have all developed magical weapons of war that could be used to change the fate of the universe forever. With the new threat of superweapons and the absolute destruction of the former 8th kingdom of the Warforged, the world has been at a tentative "peace" for 70 years. With the mortal realm in such a perilous state, the Gods of the Deck have decided to call upon a brave and true group of adventurers to end this unholy stalemate, find the culprit behind the destruction, and bring peace to a world steeped in a cold war.

How to prepare

You will need a working mic, decent internet connection, a Discord account and simple working knowledge of it, and a Roll20 account with a simple working knowledge of it. you don't even need dice. all rolling will be done on the Roll20 system.

What I provide

I bring years of experience, but since it's all online, I really don't have too much. However, I do have dozens of digital maps, enemies, and other things that will be imported into the Roll20 system. Personally, I like to use the Heroforged website for character design and I will either work with you to make your best version or help you if needed.

Gameplay details

The bulk of my acceptable content is directed by the will of my players. For me, the rules are more like physics in the universe so when I run my games I like to stick to the rules as much as possible. I also allow just about any form of content in my games. That said, I do not allow any sort of childlike player characters, any sort of murderhoboing, or any sort of wildly immoral action. All characters must be the minimum age for adulthood for whatever race they are playing. Additionally, all characters may look young if they so choose, but they may not look like children.

How will character creation work

There will be a session 0 at half price. During that time we will discuss stat rolls, choices, intro to the homebrew world and content, and anything else that needs to be talked about. I do ask however you come with a basic idea of the character you want to create. I'm not asking for 5 pages of backstory (however I will gladly accept it), but I want a little something. Do you want to be a fighter? A wizard? a caster? a tank? a DPS type? You play what you feel you think you should, not what fits the party dynamic best.
