About the adventure

The world has been at war for as long as anyone can remember, not with each other but with forces from beyond the veil, in the spaces beyond planes where even gods fear to go. The otherworldy hordes come and go as they please phasing in and out of the material plane. Though in recent years with great breakthroughs in the field of magitech their invasions have been mostly limited to a large swathe of near barren desert. There a group of near immortal legends stay to hold back the seemingly endless waves of abominations. Living together in a massive, sentient relic known as the Aether Forge, able to produce weapons that are said to be able to cut down even gods. However recent reports from the frontier say that both the guardians and the other worldly beings have disappeared entirely, the Aether Forge sits seemingly dormant, refusing to answer any questions. Your job is to investigate this territory to unearth its secrets and force that living relic to spill its guts, it is by all means a suicide mission, for if the hordes were to return you would surely be destroyed, your group will likely be made up of former convicts,clerics and hopefuls who aspire to be great heros and their ilk.

How to prepare

All you'll ever need for my sessions is a microphone, a discord account and either a mythweavers or dicecloud account for character sheets, I can use Roll 20 though I won't unless its requested

What I provide

I'm not a great artist so don't go expecting anything there but I do create battle maps and plenty of core rulebooks and other custom content, as sessions are over discord we'll simply be using a bot to roll for us.

Gameplay details

This game contains themes of isolation as well as cosmic and body horror, if any of these concepts make you explicitly uncomfortable then this probably won't be for you.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen during session 0 where I can confer with the party and so they can talk to each other to find a solid balance.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
