About the adventure

This game is for less experienced players. Got a friend you want to show the ropes? Want to put your own fresh mastery to the test? We got you covered. This is a classic high fantasy setting that takes place in a fully fleshed out, beginner friendly, environment. Feuding nobles, an undead horde, and an ancient druid circle's greatest foe all call Mogwood Forrest home. I run the game "west-marches" style, which means 100% player agency. I provide the fantastical locations, players naturally build the story and themes through gameplay and roleplay.

How to prepare

I ask that players play with cameras on, and faces well lit. Otherwise, good notetaking, and rules references for things like spells and features will benefit everyone at the table. I run games via discord video chat and I make use of virtual tabletops like Owlbear Rodeo for easy visual reference

What I provide

I will provide visual references in the form of maps and artwork, but this may require a degree of collaboration with the players.

Gameplay details

I try to maximize the amount of things the party does per session. This means using a streamlined initiative/combat system in the theater of the mind (with professionally rendered battle maps as reference). No need to be counting squares and losing track of your miniature. I run D&D like an action movie, so prepare to take action! I am particularly sensitive to disturbing content and thus, you will find none of that here. I will take the time to become familiar with and utilize any safety tools and content warning systems you feel most comfortable with. I have experience doing so, and would prefer I get a chance to speak to everyone about this individually.

How will character creation work

I would prefer to create characters as a group at a thorough "Session Zero". However, with good communication on the discord servers, anything is possible.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
