Lost Mines of Phandelver (LMoP) Beginner's Run

About the adventure

Lost Mine of Phandelver is an adventure for four to five characters of 1st level. During the course of the adventure, the characters will advance to 5th level. The adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting. The Sword Coast is part of the North—a vast realm of free settlements surrounded by wilderness and adventure. You don't need to be a Forgotten Realms expert to run the adventure; everything you need to know about the setting is contained in this book. All experiences welcome. Adults only. 2 - 4 Hours Per Session.

How to prepare

Little to no preparation needed. Simply make a character sheet on DnD Beyond. I can help facilitate and guide this process. Webcams optional, mics needed. No programs needed.

What I provide

Foundry for a clear, easy, and concise game. Dungeon Alchemist will provide high quality maps with amazing lighting and effects. I will be voice acting characters, and use a discord bot to provide ambient sound. Rule of Cool! Everyone should be having a fun time. Learning DnD should not be a stressful or boring experience. I aim to make your first TTRPG session as fun as possible.

Gameplay details

Session 0 will cover the basics and expectations for playing at my table. Rules, TOS, and goals for the campaign will be discussed. I will have an open door policy, should anyone feel uncomfortable, or otherwise not okay with how the session is going, whether that be with someone else at the table, or with how the game is being run. I will do my absolute best to resolve the problem appropriately and with due diligence. After each session, there will be a debrief and review, to go over what to expect next time, as well as things I can improve upon.

How will character creation work

Simply make your character for free on DND Beyond, anything not included in your character can be simply added in VIA foundry should you want something the free base DND Beyond doesn't offer. You will start as level 1, though I will be progressing you to level 2 almost immediately, in the interest of ensuring survival (level 1s tend to die pretty quick...) You will be allotted maximum HP gain for the first 2 levels.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
