About the adventure

This game is intended for anybody who likes dnd or if they are interested in trying out dnd for the first time! The lost mines of Phandelver is a beginner friendly module that is really great for anybody seeking a good time! The story is the following: You have been called from the great northern city of Neverwinter by a dwarf by the name of Gundren Rockseeker. The dwarf, whether your friend or your patron has recently hired you into his company. You and your comrades are to deliver a wagon safely to the remote village of Phandalin upon which Barthen's Provisions will pay you 10 gp. While that may seem like a modest amount to many wealthy individuals, this contract comes with the promise of work and riches to be discovered!

Additional Details

How to prepare

All you need is a half decent microphone, internet connection, willingness to play and a character of your choice that you want to use. Since we are using Roll20 you can roll the dice inside of the system by using the chat system. My personal preference however is to roll my own physical dice and if you want to do that I respect it!

What I provide

There are several maps that will appear in this campaign all of which you should be allowed to take and do whatever you want. These will be inspired by the module but I will draw them. So please forgive me for how gross they look.

Gameplay details

In this setting you can expect a large amounts of battles in a slightly gritty town out in the boonies. This means that there will be many characters who you can interact with that might be slightly hostile at times and as part of the campaign there will be large battles to be had.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen before the game. I will contact you individually through Startplaying and invite you into the Discord server. From there we can discuss possible alternatives into how to make your character. Ideally I should have a copy of your character sheet just so that I can check it over. (I had a player who started out as a wizard with eldritch blast. So it doesn't hurt to be sure). Not to mention that sometimes Roll20 has problems connecting with peoples voices so we would also have discord as an alternative if there are voice chat problems.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
