How to prepare

Mic is required. I will use webcam (as it helps me voice act and get into character), and you are welcome to as well, but it is not required. The first few sessions will be quite simple, and you will learn the ropes of 5e as we play. You will not need to install anything. I recommend preparing a backstory, as I always include content spesific to the characters. For this campaign, it is not required.

Gameplay details

Session 0 we will go over how to use Foundry, finalize characters, go over triggers, lines, and veils, and learn how to use X-Cards. While LOST MINE OF PHANDELVER is typically a combat focused module, I always look to inject deeper roleplay into my games, giving you the opportunity to make your character your own. Most maps will be animated, and most spells will be animated as well. This should not be a problem, but the option to make it non-animated exists if this is a problem on your PC. This campaign is levels 1-5, and should take between 10-15 sessions.

How will character creation work

When you join, you will obtain a link to the discord, as well as the D&D Beyond link where you can make your character. You're free to do most everything on your own before Session 0 if you wish, however we will role for stats at that time. Feel free to DM if you need help!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
