About the adventure

We welcome all players wanting to create a character in D&D Beyond to join us for a walkthrough and problem shooting Session 0 that will lead into an engrossing Session 1 of Mines of Phandelver. Bring your pre-made Level 1 Character or an idea of what you want to play. It helps to have read a little about the game, but we can walk you through it if you are completely new, also. You just need a Free D&D Beyond account to create your first character. They also offer a rules compendium on the site free-of-charge for an introduction into the process. If you enjoy the game, you're welcome to stick around for a full campaign with us, find another campaign or DM, or never talk to us again! No pressure!

How to prepare

You are welcome to use a webcam, but not required. Please have a way for Discord to record your voice. Your computer's mic will be fine, but a headset often helps. Please have a Discord account and play around inside it a bit to familiarize yourself. Also, please have a D&D Beyond account and be logged in. We will help you with everything else, but access to Discord & being able to communicate is a necessity. The more prepared you are, the more time will be allotted for venturing!

What I provide

We will provide you with access to our Private Discord server, an invitation to the campaign that will include the full gambit of D&D Beyond, a link to our Foundry Virtual Table Top full of creatures, monsters, tokens, maps and more!

Gameplay details

Expect some character building and bring patience. You will also experience Role-Playing, terrible voices, lighthearted (unfunny) humor, and combat.

How will character creation work

You are welcomed and encouraged to flesh out your character details and background before the game in D&D Beyond, but it is not required. We can help with anything you're unsure of, but we are pretty lax to make the game run smoother.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
