    About the adventure

In the world of Everden, nestled between the mighty Crest mountain range and the vast marshes of the Mokk Fields, lies a mystical forest known as Humblewood that hums with the Great Rhythm of nature, where the Birdfolk and Humblefolk have lived in peace for centuries. ...but now the fires have come, and the Woods have been thrown into chaos. You are one of the denizens of the wood, living life day by day making as much merriment as you can out of it. But when the flames come to your doorstep, when your home and all you hold dear is in danger, when there is no one else who will stand... Will you answer the call? Enter the wood as one of the birdfolk or humblefolk. Magical, anthropomorphic animal races emulating creatures such as the fox, the hedgehog, the raven, the owl, and many more. Experience a tale of heroism, adversity, mystery, magic, and cottage core vibes as you explore the wood, meet colorful characters, fight dangerous elementals, come face to face with the bandit coalition, and uncover the mystery of the fiery fate that has befallen the wood in this 1-5 level adventure, featuring an immersive and handpicked soundtrack for the journey to come.

    How to prepare

A decent microphone is a must. After that, you'll need a Roll20 and a Discord account, both are free! Lastly, reading chapter 1 of the setting book will give you a better understanding of the setting and feel of the wood's denizens.

    What I provide

    - Voice acted NPCs. - A handpicked soundtrack. - Detailed maps and handouts. - An enthusiastic and fun loving DMing style. - A learned understanding of the rules. - Access to campaign character resources. - Custom Heroforge miniature and portrait. - One fantastic adventure!

    Gameplay details

Roleplay and exploration are main stays of the campaign, with frequent bouts of combat and mystery throughout. And a little bit of puzzles mixed in, as a treat. This is a heroic fantasy of unlikely heroes coming together for the good of all. So a loner rogue with a penchant for murder might not be the best fit for this campaign. We'll be using a combination of the Roll20 VTT for gameplay and Discord for audio and communication. Whether beginner or veteran, the door is wide open.

    How will character creation work

I will be hosting a session 0 to get to know everyone and build your characters. Characters will be starting at level 1. On request, pre-generated characters are available, but session 0 will still be a great help. The campaign will be set in in the Humblewood campaign setting, as such, only character races from the setting are allowed. I will provide a link to the setting book upon your entry. If you are to read the book, please refrain from reading anything beyond chapter 3 If there is a species of creature that is not featured in the book but you would like to play, I can work with you to either re-flavor an existing race or create a new one.
