About the adventure

This long-term adventure takes place in the world of Rothwyn, a world covered in seas of mystery and adventure where pirates rule the waters and corrupt governments from land attempt to take them over. Ship battles, navigation, shift role assignments and more as you navigate your way around this massive world. Want to make your crew the crew to fear? Have aspirations to rule the seas? Perhaps you would rather rid the world of pirating altogether? The choice is up to you! This is a long term homebrew campaign, meaning about 50+ sessions. Everything is done through roll20. Mic required, webcam optional. You may set your stuff up through DnDBeyond if you wish.

How to prepare

Mic required, webcam is optional. I will be using a webcam for recording purposes, as well as streaming when available. You are free to create the character you want, using WotC material. I only ask you run questions by me about specifics and no cross class, for now. The chance to cross class may come available as the campaign goes on.

What I provide

I will have maps and tokens ready in roll20 representing your characters. If you would like a specific picture to be used for your character, make sure I get that as well.

Gameplay details

Open Door Policy - Player may ask to take a break or step away without judgement. AllI ask is making sure to let me know when you do. Breaks - Most sessions will go past 3 hours, so at about the 2 hour mark i'll call for a 15 minute break. Rule 0 - I will discuss anything before the session starts that may happen that could cause a trigger in some people. This is meant to give players a chance to know what's coming and if something needs to be toned down or avoided altogether.

How will character creation work

Character will be level 5. You may either make them on a character sheet yourself and provide a copy picture for my reference or make the character in dndbeyond and send me a link to the info. I'll make sure everything is put into the roll20 game as to your liking.
