About the adventure

Made for characters 8th to 9th level. Almost a thousand years ago, the topmost peak in the snow crusted mountains to the north was struck by a single chunk of shooting star. The impact was enough to blow open the heart of the highest mountain, causing it to erupt like a dazzling volcano. Ash and debris blasted high into the air and scattered all around the mountain range. The legendary mithril ore that was exposed by this newly opened and boiling volcano attracted settlers to the area, who eventually settled down and formed villages all across the range. The region was named the Chimney Range, after the great smoking mountain that never stops sending plumes of sulfurous smoke and ash up into the heavens - the eponymous Great Chimney Mountain. This enormous mountain has become, over the centuries, home to an insidious tradition of terror and forced labor unlike anything the rest of the land has seen. From within the burning bowl of the great mountain a tyrant rules, holding one civilization hostage within the mountain in order to keep all the surrounding communities under his enormous thumb.

How to prepare

All that is needed is free accounts for Discord, Roll20, and DND Beyond. You will also need a mic and headset.

What I provide

You will have access to my DND Beyond character generator and maps, tokens, and music will use my Roll20 account.

Gameplay details

This adventure has role-playing opportunities in town, some puzzle solving, but is fairly combat heavy. The adventure is designed for characters 8th to 9th level.

How will character creation work

If you don't have a character of proper level character creation will use DND Beyond with access to the multiple books I own on it. Starting level is 8 and you can start with 2 uncommon,1 rare item, and 1,000gp.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
