Giant dugeon Crawl using "Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage"
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Foundry VTT
About the adventure
Setting of the game is all underground dungeon delving. 95% dungeon delving, other 5% in the tavern/inn/city. Game will be 85% combat, 15% RPG elements. Little to no puzzles involved. This is only meant to be a few shot campaign (Maybe maximum of 10 seshes). I also want to get multiple play sessions in a week (preferably 3 a week, but would LOVE if it was an everyday thing too.) This would be a thing if you miss a sesh, the group will move on WITH you (For intents of plot and Key Items) and I as the DM will play your character for purposes of COMBAT, for RPG, your character will be mostly silent. This game intention was made for beginner's or medium familiarity players, as seasoned players MAY be turned off by how little dialogue role play there will be. This is mainly to test combat builds and familiarize oneself in combat and familiarizing myself on how to build encounters around player's strengths and weaknesses. I will be using dungeon maps from Dungeon of the Mad Mage. I would like for the game size to be between 2-5 players.
How to prepare
No webcam needed. Mic required. A PNG,JPEG,ETC of a token of what you would like to represent your character. Gameplay will be FoundryVTT, a web based program. ~Most common problem I have is players don't have webGL 2.0 support. ~If your computer doesn't meet the requirements, then your computer is too old. (Cellphones don't work well)
What I provide
I will be hosting the session from my computer. I am perfect ready.
My goal is to have back to back sessions of DND until we can clear out a floor of a dungeon. The scale of the first floor of the dungeon will easily take 6-7 hours.
