About the adventure

This is a beginner friendly intro D&D game. It will be over Zoom, audio is required, video is not required but it makes everything go much easier and is very much preferred. You can make your character before the game using D&D Beyond here: https://ddb.ac/campaigns/join/18047341249651408 This is a super casual lazy Sunday afternoon fun day game for the Gen Con Spring Showcase and a good chance to learn the basics of D&D if you’re new to the game. This adventure runs parallel to the newest D&D Hardcover book Icewind Dale. A trek toward Icewind Dale turns deadly when an avalanche blocks the heroes’ passage through the Spine of the World. Rescued by a menagerie of strange creatures, the heroes are asked to return the favor in exchange for answers about what’s happening in the cold and frozen North. An introductory adventure.
